Guyton Stone ​

Guyton Stone was born in Jamaica and moved to Indiantown, Florida at the age of fourteen. Since moving to Indiantown, he has become heavily involved in the community. Over the years, Councilman Stone reestablished the local Cub Scouts Pack 818 and Boy Scouts of America Troop 818; Guyton currently serves as Scout Master for both. Stone’s community involvement also extends to the Indiantown Rodeo, Indiantown Christmas Parade, Indiantown Youth Sports Club, Habitat for Humanity, and House for Hope. He also started and is the owner of Guyton’s Custom Designs, Inc., a home improvement business, and GUYTON® Industries, LLC., a custom furniture and cabinetry manufacturing business in the Village.

Guyton Stone was awarded new business of the year in 2016 by the local Chamber of Commerce and he was also awarded Small Business of the Year in 2018 by the Business Development Board of Martin County Florida (BDBMC); he is also a licensed insurance agent in the state of Florida. City  Councilman Guyton Stone is Jamaican born and the first Black Mayor in Florida’s newest municipality, he now serves as the councilman for the community he loves.
